Summer Suite 8.0: Rock the World (2026)

Gotham Dance Theater’s annual Summer Suite is an outdoor, high-energy performance series blending street jazz, contemporary, and queer movement vocabulary, set to global music that reflects our diverse company. The series also includes free community dance classes, reinforcing our mission to make dance accessible, inclusive, and culturally rooted.

Introduction by Marc Nuñez

22 (2021)

Inspired by Director Marc Nuñez’s mother, who left the Philippines as an OFW (Overseas Filipino Worker) to pursue a career in the United States of America, 22 explores each dancers’ parents’ journeys and their own through dance theatre. This feature-length dance film was created during Gotham Dance Theater’s residency at The Center at West Park.

5-minute Pause

Free (2026)

Free is a short dance film featuring new work and film adaptations of excerpts from Then, Now, Gotham’s tenth anniversary production. Free is a dance narrative about letting go, becoming, and moving forward.
