MARC NUÑEZ (Founder/Director) (he/him) was born in Switzerland and raised in California. He is a queer Filipinx-American, Queens-based Director, Choreographer, and Dancer. Professionally, Marc has danced for Rihanna, Todrick Hall, Donald McKayle's Etude Ensemble, Mike Esperanza's BARE Dance Company and Entity Contemporary Dance, as well as played roles in musicals including Cathy Rigby is Peter Pan (international tour), Disney's Newsies, Cabaret and The King and I. Marc has directed productions of The Wizard of Oz and choreographed Sweeney Todd (Media Theatre).

Marc is Founder and Director of Gotham Dance Theater since 2015 and Dance Curator at The Tank, where he produced concerts including GDT Shows Fade to Black and Other, and The Annual Big Gay Dance Show, Emerge Choreographers Showcase, The Soul Spot (Choreographed by Candace Brown). 

Marc is currently a Teaching Artist for Battery Dance, Mark Morris Dance Group, and Manhattan Marymount College and has also taught throughout various studios in NYC including Broadway Dance Center, Peridance Center, RIOULT Dance Center, Mae Mae Dance Studio, El Puente Center for Peace and Social Justice. Marc also created Sip 'n' Step Happy Hour Dance Class for All, a 1-hour open level dance class via Airbnb Online Experiences. Marc specializes in Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Jazz, and Musical Theater.

NADIA KHAYRALLAH (Choreographer) (they/she/he) is a dance artist, writer, and general menace. A graduate of Columbia University with a B.A. in Dance and Psychology, she currently works with Gotham Dance Theater, Jonah Bokaer Choreography, eSKay Arts Collective, and EBDance. She has co-directed music videos for Zahed Sultan and Alethea, and has presented work through Dixon Place, Queens College Arts Festival, Chez Bushwick, Queensboro Dance Festival, Screendance Miami, YallaPunk, Dancers Unlimited, and the ModArts Move to Change Festival. She has written for the Dance Enthusiast, Huffington Post, Reductress, and Sukoon Magazine, and is currently a staff writer for thINKingDANCE. CELINNA HABER (she/her) is a dancer and healthcare professional based in New York City. She graduated from Radford University with a BS in biology and a minor in dance. While attending Radford, she danced under various talented artists and performed choreographic works by Darrell Moultrie and Kyle Abraham. She had the incredible opportunity to compete in an international dance competition in Seoul, South Korea, where she placed as a finalist. Celinna currently works in urgent care in hopes to someday attend physician assistant school. As for dance, she is currently collaborating with Saltare in Elementis Dance Collective in their debut film Terra and is excited to be a member of Gotham Dance Theater. STEPHANIE SHIN (Rehearsal Assistant / Dance Captain) (she/her) is an artist and former software engineer based in New York City, dancing as a freelance artist and working in an admin capacity at Martha Graham. Originally from Ames, Iowa, she graduated from Boston University with a B.A. in Computer Science and a Minor in Dance. She has performed in and choreographed pieces for American College Dance Association conferences throughout the country and concerts within the greater Boston community, including for Urbanity Underground. She has also coordinated various multidisciplinary arts and site-specific performances. DAVONNA BATT (Rehearsal Assistant) (she/her) is originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, Davonna fell in love with dance at an early age. She received a B.F.A. in Dance from the University of Arizona with Honors, Summa Cum Laude, and with great pleasure has immersed herself in several styles of dance while studying under many exceptional artists. Since moving to New York in 2014, she has danced in and collaborated with several companies and artists including ALMA NYC, Gotham Dance Theater, Amanda + James, and of bones dance. ​In addition, she's had the opportunity to tour nationally with DAMAGEDANCE and internationally with Sarah Berges Dance. Along the way, Davonna discovered a love for teaching, and continues to find absolute joy in encouraging dancers, and movers of all ages to discover power, control, and expression in their bodies and minds. EMILY HART LOPEZ (Choreographer) (she/her) is a professional dancer, actor, and educator based in NYC. She is a 2016 graduate of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts with a B.F.A in Dance. Her work ranges from concert to company work, choreographing, latin dance, immersive theater, commercial work, and more. Credits include: Gotham Dance Theater, Cirque du Nuit, Rumbamena, NYLA, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Grace Kelly, Flint Rep, and more. SARINA GONZALEZ (she/her) is a passionate creative from New York.  She graduated from NYU Tisch with a BFA in Dance. While at NYU, she performed in St Ann's Warehouse's Oklahoma!, and was the dance captain of Tisch New Theatre’s Legally Blonde. Sarina is currently dancing in the 92Y’s TYA season.
