Time seems to pass us by incredibly quickly and incredibly slowly all at once, yet remains our constant. “Then, Now” is a look at how time shapes us, changes us, and moves us. Through revived repertory and new choreography, Gotham Dance Theater honors its ten year history while simultaneously moving forward.
Gotham Dance Theater (GDT), founded by Marc Nuñez in 2015, is a contemporary and street jazz dance company that represents New York City’s rich cultural diversity. Through Marc's Filipinx-American, gay immigrant experience, and the perspectives of his dancers, GDT highlights and celebrates the experience and strength of immigrants, BIPOC, and LGBTQ+ communities.
